SQL Data Base Administrator
REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate has a degree in Mathematics/Computer Science and at least 4 or 5 year’s of experience working with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration.
TECHNICAL SKILLS • Expert-level knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server • Good experience in Databases administration, replication, monitoring and performance tuning • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo DB, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.) and/or experience, even brief, in the role of Message Broker (RabbitMQ, MQSeries, etc.) and/or Search Engines (Solr, Endeca, etc.)
OTHER SKILLS • Passion for seeking out and learning new technologies and Innovative Solutions • Good knowledge of English
THE FOLLOWING WILL BE CONSIDERED A PLUS • Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Certification • Experience in and/or knowledge of agile methods • Experience with Web Architecture • Excellent team-working skills
